Your Daily Skincare Routine

If you're just starting to take care a bit more of yourself, then you need to understand that your skincare routine is a must. However, before you start applying the first product you get your hands on, you need to know that there is an order you should follow.

#1: Hydrator:

The first product to use in your routine is a hydrator even if you have oily skin. In this case, you need to help balance the oil levels on your skin.

One thing to keep in mind is that you should hydrate your skin right after you cleanse.

#2: Serums:

In what cocerns hydrators, you should always go from the lightest to the heaviest. This means that now it's time to apply serums.

Simply put, serums formulas usually include nutrients, hydrators, and antioxidants that are more concentrated. This allows your skin to absorb serums better. This way, your skin will be ready to absorb all the other hydrating products that you want to apply.

#3: Oils:

If you take a look at the oils market, you will easily see that these usually contain a blend of different oils. In case you have oily skin or are prone to acne, you may be a bit scared about using oils. However, as long as you pick the ones that are meant for your skin type, these oils can actually help regulate oil production and keep your skin healthy and balanced. Check out some of these amazing oils.

#3: Creams:

Creams always come at the end of your routine. Since these are the heaviest skincare products, their mission is to lock all the other products you applied so far.

Again, it is important that you know your skin type so you pick the right cream. However, no matter if you have extremely sensitive skin or oily skin, you can be sure there is a wide range of creams for you on the market.

Bottom Line

As you can see, your daily care routine is very important and skipping one or two steps may not be a good idea. The reality is that each product - hydrator, serum, oil, and cream has a purpose.

Note that it is also important to look at your skin and actually listen to it. So, in some days, you may need to only apply an oil and a cream or you may even apply a cream in the morning and an oil in the evening.
